On my Verizon bill, I noticed an extra charge under the category "Miscellaneous Charges and Credits". It is from a company called "Voice Mail Solutions". It is a $14.95 monthly charge for electronic faxes. I never signed up for this. They said I signed up electronically through the internet. They are "supposedly"issuing a credit for September and October, but they say they can't pay back anything that has already been paid! They also said they would send my a copy of the "internet sign up " through the mail. We will see if it arrives. They asked for my date of birth and I gave it! I gave it b/c I was calling the number on my Verizon bill, but now I realize this is some sort of scam and am worried. Verizon says they can block third party billing from now on.
