I am here to simply warn people of the absolutely rediculously deplorable services provided by tmobiles wireless satellite internet services. I fully knew going into a 2 year contract (I'm one of the few that actually reads what I sign up for) that there is a 5g monthly data cap. I asked them plenty of questions about this cap and how it would effect my individual online usage. I was OF COURSE told I would be just fine since I don't do too much when it comes to download. Well , I was sadly mistaken and now regretting this service completely. I have a 2 family phone cell phone plan which I have no issues with , the service is great there in that aspect . The internet services are a damn joke. I go well over the 5g cap every single month . heres an example of how much they slow you down , which is unfair because you pay the same monthly amount as other plans that don't have a cap on it -bullsh*t! example : i had a video to watch via youtube link for online college classes i take. this video was approximately 3 minutes and 1 second long. It took , no joke! , 11 minutes and 32 seconds to load this effing video ! another example : another video for class was 13 minutes long total , it took 1 hour and 16 minutes to load it . Tell me how this is acceptable or fair to customers ? why does there need to be a "data cap" to begin with ? oh thats right , because it's called corporate effing greed. I have gladly cancelled this atrocious service and switched to fios. which is the same price an AMAZING internet connection . did i mention that these time frames on which these videos took to load , i was NOT even over my data usage limit yet ! it only gets FAR worse (really? it that possible?!) after you hit that mark . So i have gladly accepted the $175. termination fee- just to keep my daily sanity . I hope this was viable information for people considering tmobiles wireless "rocket usb" internet services. AVOID AT ALL COSTS . NOT WORTH IT !!!
