I purchased 5-5th Anniversary WTC Commemorative Coins from an ad I seen on TV, from the National Collector's Mint. I purchased them on 08/21/2006, my order number was 1902165, my customer number was 1138211, and my reference number was 557. I paid with a credit card and the total purchase was $180.90, which I still have all paper work.
They protrayed these as something of value and a great investment. I recently inquired about the value of them, to only find out that they are worth nothing. I became upset over this, because I can not believe these people can go on TV, and scam people in to believing they are purchasing something of value. Not only that, but a commemorative coin that symbolizes such a horrific tragedy against Americans. I also felt good, that they were suppose to be donating some of the money to the 9/11 families, which I am not sure even happened. I would like to know how I can go about getting my money back on these coins? I am so disgusted over this whole situation, that I was scammed by this people. How are these people still selling these coins and anything else they have? Thank you for listening and I hope you can help me settle this matter.

I order the buffalo tribute proof coin for my mom. She collects rare coins. They charged my debit card the correct amount of $9.95. I waited for 3 months and never received the coin, so I contacted the company and they informed me that I didn't receive the coin because I never paid so that was that. I told them I didn't want it anymore.
Now I am receiving bills from the company saying I owe $109.90 for the buffalo coin plus the liberia .24 gold statue of liberty coin that I never ordered !!! I have contacted the company several time and have had no luck with the customer services.
Now this non payment is on my credit report and cannot be fixed !!!!

i orderd 2 gold coverd buffelo nickles .what i recived was 2 brassey color buffelo nickels maid out of pot metel sent them back march 10/2011 the mint recived my coins back and did not put credit back on charge card i called customer serivce they said they never recived the coins back . went to post office to verifie .i have recipe from post office where i incered nickles dont know what to do ---steve goodview va.

This is a very sad purchased I have ever made in US on the phone. By seeing a very attractive TV commercial. It touch my heart want to help and support the Sep 11th twin towers commemorative that's why I ordered the coins. The TV mention that $29.95 each max I can ordered 5 of the coins on the phone.

It shipped to my house with a box of many coins which I had not ordered them. I was very confused about how the bill come up from $149.75 up to $962.85 showed on my credit. I called them right away to report the shippment was not right and I got very confuesd about which one I should look for? The one I wanted to get is $29.95 each.

Finally, after for a long time and many phone calls I had made. I got one of the customer service on the phone. She told me that I ordered all of this. I told her, your phone did not have anyone pickup all is automatic voice mail repeating again and again but no one will pickup the phone! After all the phone calls I finally got a lady on the phone after 25 mintues waiting time.

I told her, this is not what I ordered. I only want the 5 coins that is $29.95 each. What should I do about that, she tried very hard to ask me to keep all of them. I told her, I can't do that you are charged my credit $962.85 the things I did not order. She said, will get back to me ask her manager can I keep the 5 coins I want and return the rest of them that I did not order. I did what the lady said, I return all the coins I did not order/want. I kept the 5 coins I saw on TV commercial. Of course, my children tried to put the twin towers on top of the coin. They fell like crazy, and it won't stand up? It was very poor workmanship.

After I returned the items on Sep 30, 2010 I used U.S. Postal Service by certified mail to send back the coins for them. They signed and received my return on Oct 1,2010 1:13pm and someone signed to recive the return. I asked them to adjust the different on my creidt card. She said, I did not return the biggest size coin cost $299.99 and other coins. I don't belive what the are doing. I have to long battle with my credit card company and this scam company. They lie and cheat whatever they can do to keep your money. I will not allow people taking advantage on me that why I need to report this issue. I still frighting to get my money back that they over charge me when they already got the shippment/return. The lied to me, they did not get partial of the shippment? How can the world allow company doing things like this to cheat on the American citizen. What are shame. Bad business need to shut them down please.
